Mr. Ken Hackett presented his Credentials to the Holy Father as U.S. Ambassador for the Holy See at a solemn ceremony held on October 21, 2013, inside the Pontifical Palace, St. Peter’s Church, Rome, Italy. Ambassador Hackett and his wife Mrs. Joan Hackett attended courses of Italian language taught by Rossana Barbera at The Center For Italian Studies in Baltimore during the 2012-13 school year. Dr. Barbera had the honor of being introduced to the Holy Father Pope Francesco by Ambassador Hackett during the ceremony in Rome.
